Professor Alan Dix, Workshop Panellist

Professor Dix is a leading expert in HCI and CSCW and
has numerous publications in these areas (please see
his personal website). He is currently writing a paper
that considers "extensions of the body" as
a cyborg or non-cyborg experience (such as with
cars).
His research areas include: the ecology of information;
mobile users and mobile interfaces; formal methods in
HCI; status-event analysis; cyberspace; information
visualisation; web architectures; time in the user interface;
collaborative work; dynamic pointers and moving beween
contexts; undo; in praise of randomness.
