Shadow Play
Sonic artist Dan Fox of the former Welfare State
International was commissioned to create an interactive installation
and performance piece for under 7s for the AV Festival at the Sage,
Gateshead. Shadow Play was a fantastic creative adventure in a magical
audio-visual environment for under 7s. Using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tags, BigDog Interactive helped bring shadow creatures to life in a surprising
world of sound and vision. Dan Fox used shadow puppetry, child-friendly
interactive music technology and live music in an extrodinarily
entertaining way.
